you mean other than the gag/partial vomit it just induced?

944 hatches should remain as god made them.

Why did god invent a hatch frame thet relied on a frame to glass bond for structural integrety? Then espose it to UV?

The style of hatch above removes this question and allows for more interior space.. road tripping or "touring". Not everyone's cup of tea, but it has distinct merits.

Looks like a bad copy of the Stosek design. I like the greenhouse effect my glass hatch has here in FL, it provided the ideal temperature inside the car to grow tomatoes all year round!

It's definitely their rear bumper, but I can't find a reference to the hatch.

I hate to say it, but that's probably the worst hatch for the 944 I've seen. Well there was that one ebay hatch that was posted here a while back that was enough to make the riciest ricer vomit.

As far as the hatch glue goes, bit of tint and you'll be fine.. although sometimes I feel like Porsche didn't have drivers 20 years from now in mind when they designed the 944.

Are all rear 944 hatches interchangable?

oh man, don't stop there. The list is much longer than the hatch glass.

BUT

I still love my porker, warts and all, just as it was pooped out of the factory.

How will that stop the delamination? Hatch tint is applied from the inside of the glass, which would still leave the outer frame where the delamination occurs subjected to the UV rays. The only way to stop the rays would be to apply some sort of black tape on the top outside edge of the hatch glass.
