Why do you have all of this stuff? Did you have a parts car?

How is your freaking dash leather-recover going anyway? Hurry up and finish so I can see.

this is all just stuff i either pulled off my car during the rebuild and its just been chilling in the attic or that ive picked up along the way and ended up not needing. i even have 3/4 of a piston ring set lol...while installing rings on one piston an oil scraper ring got bent and so i had to buy another $110 set for a single piece...

anyways the dash, i dunno whats going on. ive kinda given up with trying to make one, i made a bunch of templates out of vinyl but its kinda hard to sew them together without much experience. practice makes perfect i guess. ive been down to see my local upholstery guy the same guy who did my seats but he hasnt been at the shop the last few times ive been. i got a quote from him to make the cover for $450 though with my own materials and he could have it to me in a few days.

hell i may end up just doing the SEM finish for now..i hate the way my current dash looks all beat to death and cracked but dont have time really to do measuring and sewing as im at work 6.9 days a week.

Is the central locking switch the same thing as the ignition lock?

Thanks for the info.

I wanted to give the thread a bump in asking for another part. This may sound ridiculous, but I lost the key ignition cover today. Do you have a spare that I could buy? What I'm talking about is the small metal cover that makes it easier to slide the key in to turn the ignition.

I just checked dC Automotive and they don't seem to have what I am looking for.
