Wink 944 wanted in Nor Cal

My name is Jay Morris, I am looking for 944 that I can buy, disassemble to try a bunch of ideas, and then be able to resell it if needed.

For example a $400 944 can probably always be flipped for what I paid if I have to, as can a $8000 951.

So I want to buy a 944 in Northern California, preferably near Sacramento.

I would like an 85 1/2 or later, but not a big deal. I can pick it up on a trailer too, but I need something that can be registered and smogged in case I don't turn it into a race car.

email me please, honestly I am shopping in the sub 2000 range and would prefer around 1000, but if we get into a nice car with good seats and an uncracked dash, I will pay more.

Cash deal, honest buyer

Thanks, Jay

There is a 1989 944 down here in Chico. The guy says it runs and drives excellent. It's burgendy, with burgendy interior. Has some cool options to. It has the upgraded speaker option, and I think it has full power heated seats. The interior is in ok shape. And it has a little ding on the driver side bumper. It's listed for 3000 thousand, but it's been sitting there for a while. i'm sure you could get it for 2400 thousand. If your intrested, I can give you there number.

It is a 1983 944 for only $900. Good luck.

bumpy bump before my carfax account wears out.

Looked at three cars so far.

car 1: washed salvage title from 1990 (it took a big hit to total a 1987 944 in 1990)

car 2: had 95,000, then had 21000 (white guages FTMFW!) now has 195. So thats 280K

car 3: needed a radiator. owner was "too busy with school" to fix it. except it was last registered in 2001. and the PS cooler was hitting the pulley, but the "power steering is fine" and "it never overheated"

Get this! (If you don't mind a high mileage car.) Personally I love Zermatt Silver and the interior is a great match - black/linen/plaid inserts. Split rear seats. If you can get it for like $2500-2800
