Post Couple quick questions -DME Pinout

I am having trouble tracing wires on the factory diagrams.

- What pin is the coil ground out of the DME?
- What pin is switched power into the DME?

Thanks all!

Hope this helps.

Humm... on closer inspection and the fact that my ARC 2 hooks into this, pin 2 is the TPS output, and pin 3 is the KLR Full Load Input.

Switched power is 18 and 35 for future reference.

On the diagram, trace leads to pin 3 on a part of the diagram called the "DME connection plug". But if you trace it further onto the next page, it does, in fact, go to pins 18 and 35, as you stated. And the pin labelled "2" on that "DME connection plug" goes elsewhere on the schematic.

Sorry about the mistake... I was rushing, and was trying to look at it on a PC monitor rather than printing it out.

I assume that if you are tracing out wiring connections, you haven't started up your car just yet? How is that going?

Kevin... no prob, I appreciate the effort. I only noticed because I hooked up the ARC-2 yesterday to pin 2, and knew what I was. Pin 3 had 2 white wires in it, so I knew that was a signal of some sort.

Gonna fire it up Saturday, and also go for a drive. Everything is set to go... but I am still waiting on the parts from Paragon. Just a few peices of trim to put on in the interior, little wet sanding and a good bath.

We are going to tape the session, and I will toss up some rough footage Saturday night. Gonna be sweet!!

Not quite sure on what the TPS line on the ARC2 is doing. If it's an ON/OFF trigger, then use the DME#2. But if it's a variable position signal, then use the KLR#22 line.

Not sure either, but that is what the distructions say, and it ran ok before.

I think that is where the ARC-2 picks up the load signal.
