in the traditional SOW manner i am having a party for the annual sacrifice to the porsche gods. The boys car is on the agenda and its BYOSZAEG or "bring your own saw-zaw and eye glasses" - and maybe an extention cord. Im going to pick up a few torch sawzaw blades and the car will be cut up into bite sized pieces and loaded into the pickup for scrap. Then we'll have burgers and dogs, pop and chips etc...hopefully the weather cooperates. Feel free to come-let me know if you can- and bring whatever. See ya saturday!

nosepanel is going in cold storage- car was alwasys red-but dirty- i got the sawzaw idea a few years ago on the 914club website- these crazy aircoolers from cali cut up some mid engine cars like nothin.

rockers are "ok", battery box is perfect. Anyone that wants parts needs to arrange something w/ me before saturday Dan.

 

Pretty much everything between and in front of the frame rails is spoken for (radiator support and such).

Little OT... But yep. Ive got the radiator and shroud, oil cooler with lines, and these peices. Ill need to have the peices welded in and she'll be ready to start. Can't wait.

Decided to fix it since insurance let me keep the car plus gave me enough money to buy me a very nice black/black '87 LSD turbo!

 

I could come and show you all how It's done but...being hundreds of miles away isn't helping...

to be honest, you guys should hold a party sometime and we can switch all of the drivetrain of my car over to one of these parted out cars>>>>>seems like everyone throws away cars that are in better shape than mine which is a daily driver with loose ends....if it was just the engine that went out, plyhammer was sellign a "good" engine near you for $200 complete.
