Post Any one running juice?

I am thinking of putting on a 75 shot. Anyone using nitrous?
Who has the best kit? What kind of power will this add?
Also I know it is dangerous and illegal to have on the street. Its for track purpose only!

I run nitrous, but not on the Porsche. I personally like wet kits and I have had very good luck with NX. My advice is to start small and work your way up and NEVER get greedy with the juice. Use good relays in your system, think through your install (like positive triggers instead of ground triggers - that way it won't activate the solenoids if there's a short). Route the lines outside of the car instead of through the interior, etc. The biggest downside I see to nitrous oxide is the cost. Around here it's over $7/# and it's going to continue to get more expensive.

As for legalities - that depends on the State. Here in VA it's a felony if you get caught with it hooked up on the street. I not only disconnect the bottle, but I also disconnect the solenoids when I'm driving to and from the track.

Is a 75 shot gonna blow her sky high? I plan to use it very little. Only when I want to make sure that little honda see my tail lights. lol. The motor is very strong.

I don't know how much juice is too much with these motors. I started with a 50 shot, then went to 75, 100 and finally 150. But my motor is big and was built for juice. Eventually it will be a 2-stage 300 shot provided everything up until then works out ok.

I'd start with the small jets - probably around a 25 shot to see if there are any issues. I like to tune my nitrous system on a dyno with a wideband stack. For instance, with the 150 shot, I was WAY too rich, but my tune was spot-on. So we dropped jets until we got the AF ratio right and ended up with the 150-shot nitrous, 100-shot fuel. And ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS keep your AF ratio fat. If you go lean on the squeeze, very bad things happen.

If your engine is stock, I'd keep the shot low - probably no more than a 50. Go much bigger and you'll find your first weak link - probably your clutch. I've fried a few myself

in the 944, do you think you could fit a nice sized bottle in one of the side cubby holes under the rear carpet?

Ah Who cares. Go for it......Many have done it before you and many more after.
I've seen it done with no ill effects on 944's in good health and one S2 (who said that couldn't be done). Supercharge it? It's been done, on e-85 no less. Don't let any of these ya-who's hold you back. GO FOR IT........

I have installed N20 on many 944's and other $$$ exotics. If you go single wet fogger I would only recommend only 60hp. If you go direct port with a low pressure secondary fuel pump then you can bump it up to 125hp and make sure you dont have the rubber center clutch disc! or you can go 75hp (.021" x 4) direct port wet on the stock fuel pump. when you try to run 90hp you will be almost to the limit of the stock fuel pump that is still putting out 90% of the maximum flow. I normally flow test the fuel pumps under pressure, but that is a lot of extra work.

Dry NOS systems tend to run on the lean side. so becareful. I dont trust them and would only run about 50hp max.

also NOS is not a revving add-on. The higher the RPMs the more worthless it is. so shift early and your times will drop.

With the mods I have, and running a 75-100 wet shot (msd and dyno-tuned)... could I see close to 300HP? I think I am at 200 or more now.

75 wet kit will be just fine. only use a wet lit. i also like NX.
a 75 shot means 75 wheel hp. its usually more tho because of cooling but close.
therefore if u have 200, i assume not whp, so 160-165? you will be in the 240whp range which is alot of power for your car so it will be fun.
don't exeed the 75 shot without direct shot or some type of staging device

Is direct-port that much better? I kind of want to do this in a sneeky pete style... if you know what I mean. Is it possable with a direct-port set up?
