Hi man,
Looks great, nice wiring and truly it paid to do it right.
Concerning transmission why not a 6sp 968 unit? 951 tranny will make it slower to accelerate. What is the reasoning for the tranny? IMHO a S2 'box with aftermarket LSD would do fine.

your S2 trans could handle the power no problem.

The 951 trans has taller gears, it will feel like you are accelerating slower.

I am putting an S2 trans in my 951, and thats what special tool runs so nuff said

I like the muffler pipe in your intake tract.

If anyone else is trying to do this conversion I have an S2 bellhousing, clutch and flywheel. These are parts you need if you are not going to use the 968 torque tube, dual-mass flywheel, clutch and bellhousing.

BTW, you still seem to have the warm/hot water circulation thru the throttle body. Some people say that you'll get couple extra horses when that is bypassed and no water circulation is done on the air intake manifold / throttlebody.

Is the 968 engine stock or a CS? Also it would be interesting to know what is the power delta from S2 to 968 when S2 has MAF also. Hmm..

No difference between stock 968 and CS. The engine is the same.

You may need water circulation thru the TB during winter months depending on where you live..

I'll jump in here on my sons car, he has been doing the posts. Thanks for the input, my son is 17 years old and loves the car,I've had it for 10 years now, he has helped with all the recent work, its his daily driver, he put 10,000 miles on it in the last year plus he drives the other P cars. reason for motor change was new cam chain broke after 800 miles. the swap went fairly easy because the car was a S2 they use a lot of same parts, wiring was easy thanks to other posts and links. On the trans change i've read several links to other S2 owners who perfer the taller gears (there opinion) with the power of this motor starting low (better than our 951) it goes thru the gears real quick, and its his daily driver plus i have the trans i'll give it a try. i'll post results. On the air filter i'll be making custom intake soon, it had to be ran out that side do to maf and i wanted fresh air had to use what i had laying around sun night. Car runs awsom. Also S2 motor and misc S2 parts for sale i'll put in other post
