If you have not pre-registered and plan to do so, you need to do it on or before 11:59PM EDT Tuesday. You can register at the event but you will not receive a t-shirt or poster. Thanks.

Congrats to the Samster on winning a Top-35 brick. Quite frankly being one of the best 35 out of the cars I saw is truly impressive. I alone could have picked 50. There were some steller cars that did not win. Just not enough votes to go around! Sam's triumph was entirely deserved. . He won Best Wheels a couple years ago. Not often you get to see a Carrera GT and authentic 73 911 RS and 904 Carrera GTS and Porsche tractor among the host of other Turbos, GT3s, 914-6s, 944s, Sharks, and some truly increeeeeedible 912s.
The tentative turnout was 415 registrations and 390 cars officially on campus. 75 cars were on the street by 615am. I think 15 or 17 states and 25 PCA regions and Canada. P2O increased attendance by 50% over the record-breaking numbers of 2007 which brought 254 cars. All of this despite a sluggish economy and $4.00 gas. All of you are simply amazing people who have caretaken this event to a national respect that has turned your spirit and commitment into something the rest of PCA and the Porsche community is struggling to wrap arms around.
We can control a lot. Unfortunately weather and street construction are not two of them. We made out pretty well on the weather, and all of you took the road issues completely in stride. Ohio Dept of Transportation actually pushed back phase 2 until after P2O. Despite less than ideal conditions in a few spots, never once did ANYONE voice a complaint. That was all we could talk about at dinner tonight. The good news is next year the town should be assembly line new.
Im going to bed now!!

Thanks Chris, coming from you that means a lot!! Yeah I was absolutely stunned to get a brick among such serious machinery...100k GT3s / turbos, restored 914/911/356's, CGT, etc....and the 944 crowd got 3 awards out of 35 which I thought was awesome: Kevin Seeley (968 turbo), Justin (Judson951) white 86 951 and myself. Pretty damn cool, love the show, one of my favorites events - will keep coming back. It sure has grown!

This was my first time going. All I can say is WOW !!!!! They really know how to put on a great show. It was nice seeing everyone again. I am sorry I didnt have more time to say goodbye to everyone, but I had to follow the caravan or I would have been lost. I hope to see eveyone next month at 944fest.
Again thank you to Chris and everyone else who put on this steller event.

Repeat after me....."Sammy, Sammy Sammy!!!"
Congrats Sam!
And Kevin, too. (That's two years in a row now for Kevin )
It was so cool to see so many cars there, filling the side streets and now almost all of the middle of the road, too.

Did all of you find your static sticker in the bag. Had a few reports of folks missing one which leads me to believe they tossed the bag and didnt realize it was in there. We'll paperclip them next time.

I'm so glad I parked in between Justin and Dan (and Sam). That was the only way my car was going to be in any pictures!! Your cars are truly amazing, especially under the hood. My car feels a bit inadequate now... good motivation to make it better though. It was great to meet everyone; see you at the fest.
