Post Porsche Wheels

Will the Wheels that come with a 1990 C2 fit on an 86 944 NA?

With spacers... but the front wheels on a C2 are only 6x16, which are only good for boat anchors.

Possibly more practical as a tarp or canopy weight - nearly the same gross tonnage as a used rear rotor

Christian, it's not unlikely that the C2 in question has non-standard wheels - 17x7 & 17x9 are a common upgrade option. Either way, you'll need 20-30mm of spacer with longer wheel studs (or H&R type with studs attached) - but they are in fact able to fit, and not uncommon.

Im asking this, because I met a man at our regional PCA that put some new rims on his 1990 c2, and has the originals left over, with tires. IM just looking for something to replace the old phone dials.

Here's how I did it on my 86 951. Your offset is the same as mine.

Should mention, I indicated in the original post that the studs were under $40 for the set. That was for each size, there are two sizes so I really should have said $80 for everything. Sorry for any confussion.
