Went on a little scuba trip while in Florida. Just thought I would share. Also had a great night out with some fellow rennlisters down there. Have a great day!

Ahhhhhh little nurse sharks. They're so cute.

Been diving with them as well as Morays Nothing to worry about from either of them. But if you see a Cuda swim like the wind man.

yeah I guess the nurse sharks are a fare cry from Jaws. I've been diving with Morayas a few times as well. I have also seen all sizes of cudas while diving. the only time it ever botherd me was the time I saw three large cudas while I had a bag full of sausage on my back I had brought to feed the fish. that little problem was solved by passing the bag of meat over to my father who had yet to spy the cudas.

I wish you guys that feed fish would rethink and quit doing it.

I had a 7 foot green moray eel come up to me off Honduras and really pester me for food. It even wiggled its way between the back of my BC and me looking for goodies. Talk about creepy! A moray can snap a knife blade in two with his jaws if he grabs it and twists.

IceShark: you need a bigger thicker knife, then. Show those sea serpents who da king of the Sea.

Que the Crododile Dundee clip: "That's not a knife, here, now THAT's a knife!"

eurospeed: MORE PICS!!!

Sharks and Snakes are my only two phobias, but I love seeing pics of them!

I post a link to some more pics just as soon as I upload them.

Iceshark: the time that I was feeding the fish I was snorkeling just a few feet off shore in an inclosed swimming area in the carribien.

Rich, the knife I actually witnessed snapped was a K Bar. They are USA military and not exactly a wimp blade. But the real point was you better respect the strength of a big eel when he is playing with you. The eel can take you apart unless you have a spear or something if he wants to. Even with a spear I wouldn't be real happy with the odds. I like overwhelming.

Ok euro, just remember that those of us diving in open water may not be carrying food to satisfy the local eating machine desires.

This is not the forum to tell about when I got hit by an Oceanic white tip when swiming with pilot whales. Quite the experience. Shark thought I was a baby whale left behind. Not a good situation.
