Post Porsche Roof Rack Instructions in French (Need Help)

I purchased a Porsche roof rack for 944s from Suncoast Porsche a few weeks ago on Ebay:
<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=6752&item=2415496882" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=6752&item=24 15496882</a>

I received the shipment today. But the instructions came in French. Can anyone her help provide an English translation please?

I scanned the instruction sheet here:
<a href="http://www.globewerks.net/personal/2003march_porsche951_roofrack.htm" target="_blank">http://www.globewerks.net/personal/2003march_porsche951_roofrack.htm</a>

THANKS!!!

I have a pair of these racks. Bought them used without instructions. They are so simple to install you won't need written instructions.

Olli, thanks. The racks did not come with the bike attachments. I am going to try the Thules because they use the square bars.

What did you use?

I second Olli's opinion, they are really simple to get on - as I borrowed his for the winter (lol, still have them - Olli, I'll return them on sunday!)

The front ones go to about where the sunroof starts, and the rears just can't go wrong

You'll have to play around with the lock covers, can't remember how to open them... then on the front rack, there's a bolt (allen? can't remember) on each side, which you use to tighten the rack down... on the rear, you need to open the hatch and undo the two bolts on each sides, pretty high up... can't miss them. I'm not sure if you can then use those bolts to attach the rear rack, on mine they seemed to be too short so I just put in some longer ones off the shelf.

It's still a damn shame I crashed the car before reaching the Ruka skiing center, I would have loved to see other peoples faces when driving a Porsche loaded with skis on the roof

I like this quote from the ebay listing:

"Simple bolt and go instructions with no drilling required."

I guess this could be true, it you read French.

On the other hand, these are a nice find!

I received the shipment today. But the instructions came in French. Can anyone her help provide an English translation please?

I scanned the instruction sheet here:

Montage des barres porte-tout
Mounting the roof rack

To avoid damaging the pain, thorouoghly clean the mounting surfaces.

Open the rear hatch and unscrew the shutters on both sides. (not sure if this makes sense, I am unfamiliar with the car).

Attach the protective plates to the rear roof rack bar.

Install the bar attaching them with the M8 screws

Place the front bar of the roof rack 780 mm from the rear bar.

Hook the clamps on the roof gutters on each side and tighten the screws alternarting side to side.

Hope this helps..
