Question Who makes wheels with the right offset (52.3mm)???

I'll say it now... the phone dials on the 924S are NOT my style. Therefore the question is: Who makes wheels with a 52.3mm offset? (and I pray that thwy will not break the bank...)

Porsche, BBS, Fikse, Kinesis, and quite a few others, they are mostly high quality-high $$$ wheels. If you don't want to spend enough to buy a whole-'nother car, your choices are Mille Miglia and used (but real) Porsche wheels. MMs are heavy and soft, most people notice the loss of performance from the extra weight. Porsche used the 52mm offset on all '87 and up 944, 964, 968, 993, 996 and (I think) 986, so you have alot to choose from in 16-18". You may have to watch the width though.

That's what I wanted to hear... I don't want to spend huge amounts on wheels, but just enough to get something more stylish. After all, the only reason I have the car is because I got it free.

From the sound of your budget, make sure the maintenance is up to date before worrying about wheels .
I know what you mean about the phonedials, I just put mine back on (they hold my snow tires) and already miss my Fuchs (early offset [23mm] only). I can't wait for spring.

That's the stock sizes for a 944, but I don't know about the 924S, I heard someplace that they had 7"s all around. Maybe someone with more knowledge of your model will chime in.

They're 6" all around, unless you had the 15" w/M030 option... then rears were 7"x15" (just found the WaterCooler)

General maintenance items will be taken care of as it will put in a garage for a while as I rebuild it. I just wnat some ideas for the wheels.

How about base Boxster wheels? They're 6 and 7x16, and late offset.

My 87 924s just got a set of BBS 7x16 and 8x16 49mm offset with 215-50 fronts and 245-45 rears...no rubs so far. D
