I'm probably be getting there early on Saturday- and staying till Sunday afternoon.

Dependent upon how bad my oil leak is to fix <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> (once I determine what it is..)I may not be in the p-car

I'm hoping the fix is simple.

UPDATE.. I will be skulking around Effingham before 8 am.
Dates and times- Sat 8am-5pm Sun 8am to 2:30 pm

I'm recommending a Rennlist Meeting point at the old gas station about 11 am on Sat/Sun- I'll be in a yellow hawaiian shirt- yep, same shirt as last year at tweeks!!

It sounds like the weather is going to cooperate after all. High of 75 both days and partly cloudy on Saturday. 30% chance of showers possible on Sunday, but those of us at Hershey know it can't be that bad!

I just made reservations for Saturday at Best Inn. We found a coupon in one of the coupon books you find at rest areas. This book was "Traveler Discount Guide" - motel coupons for the midwest area.

Haven't checked other places recently but this one still has rooms available. The phone number is 217-347-5141 or 866-252-5141.

I and a friend will be there about 8:30-9:30 Sat morning, still not sure if we are going to stay over night yet. Thank you Patti for the phone #'s. This will the first year for the both of us.

I should be there by noon Sat. my son has a Dr. appt. 5 pm Friday in Tulsa before we leave, go to Rochester Ill. then leave Sat. am for Tweeks.

I'm sure that he told the officer that he was only trying to help that sheep cross the fence.

Chris, yeah Rockford "the city that makes screws," and was #2 on the nuclear hitlist during the Cuba/Russia vs USA cold war days. There is actually a number of Porsches in and around the Rckfd area, and I actually purchased my 944 here too. There is 7 P-cars not including mine in a 5 mile radius of my home. I think the majority of them are not involved with their cars though. There is however a man in my subdivision who just bought a 996TT on a trade in on his 2002 996 Targa, and he belongs to the Chi-town PCA "Randy Lumis" is his name, and if I am not mistaken I believe I read that you are a memeber of the Chicago PCA as well. I have thought about joining, but the Sports Car Club of Rockford SCCR (member of midwestern council)seems more tempting due to closer events. I am welcome to any feedback you are able to give on the Chicago PCA if you are a member and I am not mistaken. Hope to see you down there at Fun Fest Chris!

Man, if I were graduating tommorow instead of Saturday, it could have worked out great for me going. Go their Saturday and Sunday, head to U of I after the meet on Sunday. Stupid graduation ceremony and U of I orientation
