Ben- I used to purchase fused silica in bulk for a laser manufacturer I once worked for. The raw materials for that size would be cost prohibitive. The light diffraction isnt that extreme due to the crystalline substructure of fused silica- but 1 piece the size of a headlight cover would be around a GRAND prior to working it IIRC.

There has GOT to be a better way..
