Nice workmanship, but it doesn't quite ring my bells.

+1 - not a look I would go for but it's well executed and looks very interesting.

Is the new panel fiberglass?

Doesn't ring my bells either.

Regarding workmanship -- if it was done properly, then ok. But if it's just wood painted white held to the car with zip-ties, then the workmanship is, eh, how you do say, not-so-much good.

no, it's not a new panel as such,i've just moulded in where the old lights were, first with f/g , then skimmed with filler
theyre only 90% complete as i have some trim ordered to make surrounds for the lenses.

Just be thankful you have a euro car. If you decide that you don't want some of those nice alpine white pieces like the rear bumper, I'm sure myself and some others wouldn't mind taking them off of your hands...

It looks a bit too much like the ferrari lights. I'm sure with some well-thought-out accenting you could really bring it to life, though, and make it really part of the car.

Don't change too much; the rest of the car looks fantastic!

Yeah, that's the thing. It looks like it was really done wel - from the pics, could have been original - and it isn't overtly blingy/rice.

Looks nice, actually, though i prefer the retro/stock look for my car.

Brutal, you are somewhere in Europe where you don't have to worry about rear side signals?
