951 vs E30 M3
I noticed there was a thread recently about people comparing a Mazda Miata to the 944/951. I thought maybe it would be better to compare the 951 to something more in its catagory and year range such as a E30 M3. I always was a fan of the E30 M3 but went with a 951 because your dollar goes much further with the 951. I got a near mint 951 for the price of a roughed up E30 M3, and the 951 has more power imo. It was a no brainer which to chose. Anyone out there own an E30 M3 or have some input on it? Just curious to see what people think....

This subject has been brought up many times and ends up a pissing match every time. It gets really old and normally started by trolls on either this site or the m3 site. Do a search and close the thread please unless your intention is to agitate....

my apologies...I should have done a search first. I was not trying to agitate. I guess I jumped the guy by posting a thread about it without searching...

Well, did that thread end up a pissing match? How did that miata thread end up? What about e30 and what V2 said? There are US spec M3s that are e30s so what is the problem?
I didn't say all threads are started by trolls. I am refering to ones like this by guido944

When I was shopping for either an S2 or e30 M3 I think I posted the same question (or lurked a thread) None the less, I still want an e30 M3, but I like boxy cars with flared fenders.

When I was looking for a "new" car, I really wanted to get an e30 M3, but a decent one was out of my price range.
Someday, I would still really love to have one.
In my opinion the e30 M3 (along with the Turbo/S2 944 and the NSX) is one of the best looking cars ever made.
