Post Anyone know anything about Michael at Prospeed?

Anybody have any dealings in the past with Michael Wachholz at Prospeed? Good or bad, it doesn't matter. Is he usually very slow to respond to e-mail? I'd rather not get into details just yet.

I had sent him some enquiry emails just last week about a brake upgrade package, and he was vey prompt, and informative in replying.

I've been waiting for a core refund for almost two months now. He hasn't replied to any of my e-mail and I have yet to see the refund.

I wanted to know if others have had to wait forever for him to reply to e-mail as it may indicate he is either 1) really busy 2) having trouble with his e-mail server/service or 3) having trouble with his business and is spending time working that out. If he is replying right away to you, then maybe he is avoiding me.

Anyone else have any input?

I've never delt with Michael on a professional level. I can say he seems to be quite a stand up guy. He attended one of my So Cal Pizza Gatherings a few years back, and stayed at my place for the Thanksgiving weekend. Nice man, easy going, and he loves the cars.

Thats my experience.

Take Care

OOPs, I guess Shaun never logged out of the computer here at the shop. So I guess I should tell you this is John Anderson, and that was MY experience LOL

Michael is a pretty good guy. We just finished working on bringing an M3 BBK to market so he has been really busy. He brought in an excellent product to the BMW world at a great price when everyone else has been busy sodomizing the BMW enthusiast community.

He told me he doesn't like you at all BTW and that you will never see another cent from him(j/k)! Next time just tell him hi from me.

Thanks all. You know, I had thought up until recently that he was really good to work with. He went out of his way to get me a high output alternator (in anticipation of Dan's light kit) even though he had just taken that item out of his products list. I guess I'm just kind of irritates that he hasn't gotten back to me for so long.

I bought calipers from him, and I'm thrilled with the quality of the job. That said, he didn't have the items in stock, and it took forever and a day to get them. He's trying to build a business, and I guess he's doing all the work-tech, admin, sweeping floors, etc. He does love brakes, thats for sure.

A friend of mine got BR from him as well as rebuilt calipers, he was pleased with the quality and service.
