Default After doing any work make sure everything is properly secured!

About 1-2 weeks ago I did a t-belt job on my 84 n/a. Today I was sitting at a light and I notice steam coming from the hood.. fearing the worst I pull over.

I saw I was leaking a decent amount of coolant from the hose that goes from the overflow tank to the radiator.

These hoses are 13 months old (replaced em the 1st time I did my belts) and I'm not happy I have to replace them but at least it could have been worse

Now, I need to drive my car every day and I'm thinking the best way to go about repairing this. I was going to cut out the cut section and use a hose coupling to repair it until I get the new hose. Only problem is its cut right before the bend and I don't think I'll be able to repair it properly. At this point I'm thinking gaffers tape and hose clamps should hold it for the next few days until the new hose comes

anyway moral of the story.. when finishing up work on the car MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS PROPERLY SECURED!!!
