Well today I knocked out the nose panel and the other headlight door. So far so good and the paint looks surprisingly nice under the blue. Tomorrow I am going to try and do the front bumper and possibly the hood or a fender.

I agree. Especially since the white paint is still nice.

yeah you'd never think youd see nicer paint under the newer paint. Ive seen many cars around here thought that were flat blacked and the paint is flaking only to reveal a nice shiney brighter color underneath. Makes you wonder what people are thinking. good luck!

While it is far from perfect, I do appreciate the compliment

Reminds me of a movie where these girls are driving a new 7 series with a full color wrap, rob a place, and then peel the wrap off revealing a totally different colour BMW.

My suggestion: Go rob a bank while you can still get away with it!

just kidding! Nice work on the paint removal. Add one to the "can't wait to see the final product" camp.

Yeah, this is very cool. I'm excited to see the end result.

This is pretty cool. Kind of like peeling up the carpeting in an old house and finding a really nice wood floor underneath. Kind of makes you think "wow, that's really nice but wtf?"
