Default trade or sell 18" twists

thinking of selling/trading my 18" wheels. 2004 911 widebody 18x 8 and 18x11 - 55 front offset and 45 rear. If i find some proper sized wheels for early offset to replace these i'll include the 1.5" front bolt on spacers. These are hollow spoke, good shape, alittle curbage on both rears about 1" long. Tires are pirelli p-zero asimetrico w/ about 75% front left and less on the rear. I like them but with these heavy springs and the bumpy roads around here i just cant deal with it anymore. Anyone have something 17" or so that will fit early offset- or that i can use my spacers with- that would trade, or i may possibly sell these for $1200-ish.

how much more sidewall are you going to have with a 17"? to look as good it's going to have to be close to the same, and so you won't gain any comfort

Dan - I just sold those C2 Turbo replicas that I bought from you. I loved the look, but they were too heavy for auto-x and DE. I made a very lucky find in the Bent Pylon, bought a mint set of 17" Forgelines for $750. No idea what they cost new, but it seemed like a good deal... They are 17x8 and 17x9.5, and with tires, the rears weigh 14 lbs less (each) than the replicas with tires. So, the rear rims weigh well under 20 lbs each (I would estimate closer to 15 lb). Anyway, if you can find a set of those from a racer, they might be a good option for you.

Those are some nice wheels! I have seen them in person and the rear wheels will give any 951 a really nice stance. Good luck on the sale.

I have a really nice set of 7 & 9 inch Cup IIs on my car right now. Tires are 235 45-17 up front and 255 40-17 out back. They came of a 95 993: I'd be willing to do a trade + cash (the cash going to you of course).
