In the back, in one of those big wells either in the corners or in the spare tire well if you are going to install a 12 or 14 incher. Use Search and youll find lots of stuff!

KLA sells a box that fits in either rear quarter well. Amp goes in with the spare tire. Won't get wet if all plugs and drain tubes are in the right places.

i bought a 10" fusion tube sub w/ the amp built in, it just sits behind the rear seat (has Velcro on it that sticks to the carpet). It's easy to remove if necessary, but i guess it just depends on how big of a sub you want and if you want to hide it or not.

My sub. crappy pic

I made it out of 3/4 inch mdf. Amp is mounted on the side.
Made it so I can remove it easily for autocross and stuff.

If you are interested I can build another one and sell it to you.

I'm making a mount for an amp and a 10" sub that uses the two holes for the spare tire to mount to, it's almost complete, will take a picture for you when it's done and can easily make a 2nd if you like it

That's HUGE for a pair of 8's.

Most 12's fit in 1.1cu.ft or smaller these days. 10's are under .5cu.ft each.

You have some old school 8's or something?

I did a custom fiberglass box that fits right down in one of the cubbies behind the rear wheel. It is similar to the KLA setup except that it is slightly smaller so the sub fits down below the carpet 'flap'. I mounted an amp on a board that sits on the spare tire. You can't see any of it unless you remove the rear carpet.

It is only one 8" sub, so it isn't going to win any bass competitions, but it is plenty strong w/ a good amp/sub. It sounds great to me and you don't even know it's there till I turn up the bass or pull up the carpet.
