thatd be too much brown imo lol.

i always thought it would be cool to cover the fake aluminum trim with real aluminum plate.

I saw it done on a 924, it was either brown or black. not sure if it was like that stock ( a rare color option ) or if they had done it. But it looked great in my opinion,

can you send the sem paint can numbers?
I think the SEM paint numbers are in the instruction post. The 6.5" screen can do a few things: navigation, DVD, rear camera, computer.

Seriously, I'm thinking about painting the rings around my early gauges, either silver for that vintage look or guards red to match my exterior. I thought about this after I learned that there were no chrome rings available for pre-1985.2. If I do, I'll start a separate thread on the project.

this might be off topic, but i'd like to get an early 944 and put in a late dash, or a carbon fiber dash like on the blue 968 turbo that is on the boards here from napa, ca... anyone know about that dash?

from what I've seen and read trying to update an early dash to a late dash becomes too expensive. ie, new gauges, wires, different cables, ventilation....

you would be better off to just buy an 85.5 or later.

i can see your logic, but id build a stripped down version, maybe a new guages, elctronic guages, carbon fiber dash... so many fantasies
