I have 3 - 4 original wheels and they are bad....they are getting so old ....it may be cheaper AND better to redo one

I bought a nice used wheel and despite the part # being the same, the hub was a bit different and it didn't fit all the way down on my steering column! The restitch isn't bad and there is nothing like new leather. I would have a shoe shop or somebody do it, though. Tailors are really cheap and I can't do the needle/thread thing.

I have an inkling that you're being sarcastic, but have your old wheel in hand, and the AGLA kit, and take it into any shoe / tailor shop and they will give you the nod. You have to see the kit- the leather is precut so all you have to do is place it and stitch it up. I didn't bother with glue and mine looks fine. It will take pro tailors about 10 minutes of actual work to line it up and stitch it. It would have taken me about 10 hours to stitch all that up.
