My gas gauge jumps then settlesdown then jumps I think it's the ground where is it at?

I think it may be near the passenger side tail light.
Do a search for a picture that shows all the grounding points. It has been posted quite a few times.
I am at work so can not post it for you.

Maybe some well chime and give you the link or post the pic.

yeah under the rear hatch carpet between the taillights there is a set of grounds, and also under the dash there is a large group of grounds on the ds.
