Lightbulb ODO Quit working.

A few weeks ago my odo quit working, not all at once, but first it just started running slow, the speedo was reading fine, but the Odo would read less miles that I had actually done. then it quit reading anything.

Hmmm. so I pulled the cluster and sent it in to North Hollywood speedometer.

They fixed the odo and it works just as it should, and while they had it I had
them upgrade the lights inside the cluster to new white LED's.

I have to say WOW the old bulbs still worked but it was very dim at night and it was hard to see the gages at the ends of the cluster. now it's like night and day. I have no affiliation with N.H. speedo. I just wanted to share about the great service and worthwhile upgrade.

Nothing but good things from North Holywood Speedo. They do some amazing things with the gauge faces as well.

thanks for the write up on NH speedos. I usually just get the indestructible Rennbay odo gears. I think every P-car ive ever owned needed a replacment (lucky to all the ones that bought them from me!)

OK, Pix on the way, I intended to take a before pic. but forgot to.
I guess everybody know what the stock lights look like, haha.

I'll take a shot and post it here ASAP.

Wow that looks great! Is there much control over the brightness with the factory dimmer?

The dimmer still works to a point... as in, they dim to a point and then go dark.

I usually run the gage lights at max anyway in all my cars, so I'll see how it is and report back,

as I have yet to drive the car in the dark with the new lights.
