Roaches.

Very social, yet hard to spot in daylight
They move a lot faster than you think - especially when they take flight!
They can keep going for a long time on other people's junk/castoffs
Indeed, they're actually quite hard to kill completely!
There's even a strange segment of people that love them and keep them as pets.

Other amusing roach facts (courtesy of www.roachcom.net)
All American pest roaches--like most American humans--were immigrants.
Tropical cockroaches are often brightly colored green, yellow, red.
Roaches live all over the world, including the North and South Poles. In extremely cold places, however, they survive by moving in with humans.
No food for a month--not even a crumb? Roaches can go without eating for a month but will only live a week without water.
Roaches have faster reflexes than humans--even faster than Michael Jordan's. (but not as fast as Chuck Norris! )

The 944's have made me poorer than any other car. Maybe that is what they mean.

The thing that sets the 944 apart are its curves, that hourglass figure. Unfortunately, naming a car after a woman isn't exactly ground breaking.

How bout Kangaroo ?

Both the 944 and Kangaroo have nice curves at the hips...
Both are quick and agile...
And both like to just chill out and take a break now and then...
(See below)...clearly I'm in the middle of a busy day)

Haha, nice to see a fun and original thread around here...although I'm sure I'm missing out on plenty in OT

My Porsche friends call my car a Volkswagon.

My wife calls it a money bit and/or my mistress.

I call it my toy. (Sometimes I refer to it as "the '44" - so much shorter than "my 944-S2")

One could always name it after a specific hourglass-blessed woman. Like Marilyn Monroe or Mae West (though I think that was the life preserver that pilots wore during WWII).

How about the Von Teese?

Though my favourite was always "Mine kleine Buzzbomb."

The Mae West was so named after Mae West, the actress - known for her bodacious tatas. (No, not Tata - that's a cheap Indian car).

The catfish, I think more closely resembles a Mini (particularly the new ones)... had one following me the other day, was rather struck by the resemblance!

^YES. Now that you mention it, I totally see that. OK from now on I will call Mini Coopers Mini Catfishes. Or catfish S.

But where does that leave the 944? I can't think of any other animals. How about a hare? Because it's a bigger faster version of the Rabbit........
