Default Help!! AC Delete belt size?

Sorry, tried searching and didn't find the answer:

I have a 5 ribbed belt and can't seem to get the right size belt, anyone?

Also anyone need some old AC parts, I believe they're good.

6pk-720 is the contitec part number, so I would guess it is 720mm

I can't seem find the right size anywhere, I have a 6 rib to compare, It's a Napa 060288, I thought the 5 rib was 050288 but no one sells that. The next size the flaps sells is either 2" longer or 1.5" shorter. Neither will work.

Thanks,

I could not find the right belt locally either. The part number Doc posted is correct for the conti belts... 6 rib, 720 mm.

I bought one from Dave Derecola here on the forums... I got both of my AC delete brackets from him. You can email him at Cup944@aol.com... he might have a source for the 5 rib.

This is what I picked up for my early AC delete car:

http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro...er=99919220450

PET lists the part # as a 999-192-204-50.

That looks good, 736mm...

Remember you do have some room to take up slack using the adjusting rod.

Yea I have one too, it's worthless to me, I need a 5 rib. It may be easier to convert over to a 6 rib though.

Thanks anyway,

Hey if you want to sell that 6 rib Tom, send me a PM. Never hurts to have a spare as I have the same delete on both the track car and the 951.

The belts were to short. These are obviously for that expensive bracket set-up. I was hoping to find the right belt for no compressor, no AC delete bracket, just the belt that would fit between the alternator and the crank. Anyone know the size and where to get one of these? Thanks. Michael

Thank you. That looks like a nice mod. However, I was looking for the size of a belt that will fit between the alt. and the crank without relocating the alt. and just removing the compressor. A third option.
