I was going to say it was cat not bird. Never saw the factory stuff up there before but knew it was there at one time and never thought it would look like that coming out.

I would use some 3m spray adhesive and put it back where it belongs.
Porsche put it there for a reason.
As for the dead animal… oops
Don't feel bad, the first day I got my 924S I thought the door lock was beside the handle on the rear ¼, but as we all know that is the anti-theft. I looked like an idiot in the store parking lot.

Just palm that rodent like a football and scoop out the innards. Then you can go wash off in your local storm water retention pond. It should all come off, else try gasoline. It pulls everything off.
