Default 924S brakes

Just looking to check, will the brakes (calipers) from a 1987 944 just bolt onto a 924S? I was fairly certain they were the same, just want to check before i buy them. I did some searching, just couldn't find anything that conclusively said they were the same.

I know that the 951 and some later models had the larger brakes that won't just bolt onto my car.

All the 924S, 8v n/a 944 and 944S models had the same brake calipers.

What if you wanted to put the big brake kit on a 924S? Would it work?

What kind of 16 inch rims? Turbo phone dials, or boxster rims?

Well it really depends what big brakes you go with. Rennbay has the Wilwood setup that works with 15'' wheels. The 951/S2 Brembo's is a complete front and rear package plus the benefit of a larger rotor. You will need the spindles from a 951 or S2 to run the Brembo's, but its otherwise a bolt on addition with 16'' wheels.
