Why dont more people use the aluminum ones. Lighter and more ridgid. What are the negatives?

I have one if anyone is interested, unpainted as supplied. Looks very well made, mandrel bent and good welds & strengthening where needed. This does not fit a car with a/c as I found out after I purchased it from performance products about a year ago. Still unused and gathering dust.

$125 + shipping (US and Paypal only)

TEASE.

Anyone else, I'd be quite happy with a used brace.

What are the negatives?
Without all the technical speak, the point where steel will flex to deforming but will return to it's original shape is more forgiving than aluminum.

Anybody have any info on the interior of this extruding?

I have one of these in my car, very stout. Of course it involves a little welding...

(note this is a pic of Seb's car, not mine, I don't have a pic of mine handy on the laptop I am using)

I have been thinking about building my own strut brace. It shouldn't be to hard, maybe next month I will try building one or two if some people are interested in buying one.

Quick Reply: Who makes this strut bar???
