is this for real?? my friend found this and thinks i should get one. it claims 35hp, but from what ive read on rennlist im skeptical. but then he offered to pay for half. i read the feedback and its all positive... but its mostly about quick shipping.
waste of money or do you think it may actually work?

thats not a 944 dyno graph thats for sure...
but its like 30 bucks. how they describe it works is how the car accelerates anyway. give it a shot if you want but i doubt it would work.
theres a reason that autothority, vitesse and those kinds of chips are $100+.

the dyno graph on the auction shows power being made at least 700RPM over the stock fuel cutoff of about 6500RPM. its hard to raise the rev limit even a little bit because you risk damaging the engine.
also, dyno measurements are generally taken at the wheels which means the car in that graph would have been making over 200HP at the crank, which is alot more than 35HP over stock.

Thats a BS dyno chart. HP is calculated through measured torque and by definition equals each other at 5252 RPM. Lines do not cross each other at 5252 so that chart is MADE UP.
