Code Red (icat's former 951) finds warm new home...
Gentlemen,
I have been reviewing the forum it is quite obvious Code Red needs no introduction, however I do. My name is Matt Whitney and Keith has already mentioned that I purchased the car from him today. I owned an 83 944 about ten years ago, let a buddy drive it and he totaled the car. I was sick and learned my lesson, (now buddies fly co-pilot only). Regardless of the loss I always knew I would have another Porsche sometime it my life, hopefully a turbo...enter Code Red.
For those of you who know the car from this forum and have not had the opportunity to see the car let me assure you it only gets better in person. The car is absolutely stunning and as most of you know Keith has maintained its impeccable condition over the past 11 years.
I am the new proud owner with a "silly grin on my face" and it appears I have big shoes to fill. Fortunately Keith left me a small thing or two with which I can tinker. The car only moved about 25 miles into the heart of Houston and given some good weather I'll throw up a few pics at it's new home.
I have to say it is good to smell that Porsche leather again and be behind the wheel of a beauty. I look forward to being a part of the community!

He did. Code Red is about as clean as it gets. Matt won't have any PO horror stories to deal with.
Matt, if you're 25 miles east of Keith, you must be in the Galleria area? Some of the guys and I are going to mess with mine in a couple weeks, I'll PM you the address of the shop if you want to stop by and meet a couple board members.
