Don't know about the Napa car. What kind of wheels are those on that red 44. Look kinda like polished phones. ??

yup...

Sadly many of the 968s are owned by oblivious people, and some are owned by enthusiasts that don't hang out with "the crowd". I once met a 968 owner in a DMV parking lot by chance. His car was very nice, and he said he owned 3 of them. He never goes on forums, hangs out with PCA, or races... so it's like his 3 cars are just "off the map".......

Same story down here.

Kinda surprising how few owners hang out here.

There are two guys with 968 cabs in speed yellow who never show up anywhere, either in person or online. Go figure.

I guess some people have "better things" to do with their time.

Some people just aren't into the online conversing thing. The guy I met was into parting out 944s and drag racing his corvettes.

Then there's my car's PO. He had 5 968s after I bought one from him. I mentioned rennlist, and he said something like "those guys are boring... if anything, go join PCA". Wasn't really into hanging out with people online, but he loved in-person chatting, shmoozing, anything involving 968s or porsches in general. But how do you meet other owners to hang out with if not online?

Quite frankly, I don't have much time to hang out in the flesh- but I can chill at home and take care of the family with one hand, type half thought responses on RL with the other.

+1
I made a lot of friends with 928 owners when autocrossing. They helped me with tires and just general autocrossing techniques.
