Hey guys I am new to this forum. I have an 88 924S. It is in great condition and runs beautifully. I have a long story that ends with a transmission failure on the biggest road in the city going up a hill.
Bad deal. I purchased a clutch kit and then found out that was not the issue. I have this and it needs to find a new home. I also need a transaxle. I would like to find a trade but I have no problem with selling. Make an offer.
Thanks.

Also you need to be member to post for sale adds.
BTW... I know you have an excuse and most people have reasonable ones and mean no harm, but selling of personal items on rennlist is perk that availible to members only. I will say that join rennlist is great way to help support a 924S as the information you will learn here is well worth membership fee.
Good luck... (Also where were you 3 weeks ago when my race car needed a clutch?) Funny that you mentioned the tranny being bad. I though my tranny blew and it turned out to my clutch.

Hey Cone_eater, by your rennlist name I assume you are autocrossing the 924? If so, that was probably the main reason your trans took a dump. I've found that autocrossing (especially with sticky tires) is fairly detrimental to transaxle life. If that's the case, consider getting a spare after you replace this one with a used one. Best bet would be to take your old one and get it rebuilt at your leisure. A freshly rebuilt trans with a new r&p and proper lash adjustment will take the strain of autocross much better than a worn one that is out of tolerance.
