Post Visiting WV- What to do? Any RL'ers there? Rock- Road trip?

I'm heading to Lewisburg WV on Monday for work- anything there?

I hope so.. Casino's , Fine dining, perhaps a sushi bar>

I'd be willing to meet up for a GTG if anyone is in the area, or on the way..

Chris
Andrew is right.. Wrong time of year for WVA. Postpone untill nice weather and you could white water raft in the Bexkley area. South of Beckley you could snow ski this time of the year.

White Sulpher Springs / Lewisburg is one of our favourite parts of my home state (watch the wise cracks, please). As others have mentioned, this is a great area for outdoors stuff, particulary hiking, fishing, and golf. None are much fun in the dead of winter, though. The wife and I like Lewisburg for the artsy downtown - lunch at Food and Friends, troll the shops (antiques, art), dinner at the General Lewis Inn, etc. When that was part of my sales territory, I fished the Greenbrier River in the evenings after work. Of course, The Greenbrier (a 5 star resort) is 10 minutes away - great food, multiple golf courses, trap & skeet, stables, the whole lot. The surrounding roads are fantastic for our cars, but if you're like me you won't be in your "fun" car on a work day. PM me for more detail. Unfortunately, that area is a little far (2 hours) for a casual GTG on a business day, or I'd join you for a drink. If you want to visit our "casino" (dog track, slots - table games coming soon), you'll need to come north to the Charleston area, where I am.

Goto The Greenbrier... if you can afford it.
