Question 85.5 Porsche script doorhandles

Did the 85.5 on Porsche 944's have Porsche script doorhandles? Also, I have noticed some 944s have strips on the driver and passenger doors and some do not. was this a factory option?

Many people remove the strips. They are just stickied to the body

mine are attached by a screw also on the inside of the door. I assume that all 944's have this screw hole?

Some 85/2 944 cars have the PORSCHE script door handles. I have one.

i believe the strips were a factory option. My 89 n/a did not have the strips but my turbo does. My 89 also had the script handles. Not sure what the cutoff for the early handles was though.
