Question Ok, a one of a kind turbo......

Ok what is everyones take on this one of a kind job on this Turbo? Not my car but sounds interesting and has anyone else done this?

neat idea.

Not comfortable with it though. Knowing how Germans engineer stuff as 'systems' rather than just a bunch of parts moshed together, my guess is there's something lurking in there that will cause major problems. Odd as it sounds, does the heater core have any impact on the flow? Last thing you need is something like the heater core going south.

wow.

after reading the thread in the turbo forum this really sounds like a cool car (pun intended )

Still, wondering about the 'auto shutoff' for the engine if the wp fails. Guess it's no worse than a blown hose.

The auto shut-off would be easy. Changing the water pump without having to remove the belts, even the alternator belt, is "cool".
