Default Searching for a MINT '89 951"S" ...

Of course, all of the '89's were "S" cars, so I guess including the S is moot...

The current Black/Burgundy '89 that Willhoit has on eBay would do, but somewhat overpriced, even for a mint car w/ 22K...

Issues are super low original miles, cosmetically and mechanically perfect, NO paintwork ever, NO track time... colors not too important, but I do detest White...

Must have full docs, including original window sticker... Proof of Belt changes in past 15K miles or five years... and proof of all Recalls performed...

Cash in hand for the "right" 951S... might consider an '88 if it is a true "S"...

If you know of or have such a "beast", PM me... Thanks! Make sure it looks as nice as my 17K mile '86!

Was that your "wanted" ad in Pano? If not, then you may have some competition out there

Good luck!

That's a pretty tall order, especially if it has to have the original window sticker. Here's one that was for sale, not sure if it still is. It looks like the speedo has been changed but still looks like new-

There was an '88 silver/rose with the plaid interior and less than 5K miles for over $40K at a dealer but I don't remember who it is. If you find the right car I wouldn't let the belt history deter you (easy to do yourself or not that expensive) or proof of recalls (the only one I know of was the fuel line jumper, and you're going to replace those old lines anyway, right?)

Aren't all early offset? meaning that pic would be of an 86.

I have a true 88 S for sale in New Jersey.. 64k.. id say a 9.8/10 over all.. Original alpine white paint, interior is mint, previously owned by an old lady that probably never even got the thing on boost. Car has been a garage queen for the past 3 years Since I have owned it... but taken on a drive atleast once a month.. PM me if interested and we can discuss further.

Thanks,
Keith

What a coincidence- I'm looking for one also... just for around 3k.

Good luck in the hunt. I hope by the middle of next year, I will be in a better position funds wise.
