Default Altenator Belt

Hey guys, how do i tighten my altenator belt. After searching, someone said 2 17mm wrenchs under the ac compressor. Havnt had a chance to go out and look but can some one give me more details, or will it be quite obvious once im under there? Cus i would really hate to mess something up.

its a turnbuckle. One side is right hand thread and the other is left hand thread. Unlock the lock nuts at each end of the bar and spin the center to lengthen/shorten the bar. Then relock the nuts.

Don't forget to loosen the two bolts holding the turnbuckle. They face the front of the car. Without doing so, you run a risk of breaking your turnbuckle. Then you'd have to buy the one from my parts car.
