Default My 15 mintues (or 30 days) of fame...

Holy Crap ! ! !

The new 2008 NASA Grassroots Motorsport Calender is out and my... 951 (and my instructor and I) are June. It was a photo taken at VIR during my last DE...

I haven't even got my copy yet, but RSRDAN called me up and told me. I thought he was pulling my leg till I looked at the Grassroots Motorsport web site and checked out the advertisement for the calender. It takes a second as it scrolls through but ya get to June and there is my Turbo.

http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/calendar/

I had no idea, kinda cool all in all.

That's an awesome pic. Congrats. So if I get that calender, can I, uh, get an autograph? Is that asking too much?

Cool!

As a NASA member, I get the Grassroots Motorsports magazine and I highly recommend it. Very good articles.

Congrats on the pic!

Nice! Got my GRM 2007 Calendar hanging in my office.

Been a Grassroots subscriber for years. The best car magazine hands down.

I joined NASA to do DEs as my Buddy Dan (RSRDAN) races in the 944cup series so we go to the same events. I Like NASA, the HPDE is a nice way to "get yer feet wet" as it were, in learning to really drive.

Now I am going to be hanging out at the mail box till my next copy with the calender shows up.

ALAS I have moved to Idaho but I have two buddies, one in Williamston and another in Statesville who are active NASA members.

I have yet to try a PCA DE and with all the new rules concerning safety equipment requirements I will have to sit down with the rule book.

I Highly recommend NASA as a way to get out on the track.

YEah i got my copy like Monday and i was trying to fig out who's car was that. One thing i saw was that your not driving hard enough because you do not have any brake dust on the wheels.

I had just scrubbed the car and by the end of the weekend the wheels were nice and brown. The curve of the rear fender flare had lots of black marks from marbles.

That was also the weekend the Nobel club had a mobile Dyno there doing dyno runs for donation only and that was cool.

Congrats!! I just received my first issue of Grassroots, and was pleased to see the calender with it. Best looking car in the whole calendar if you ask me.
