Default Engine Stand

I have engine out. Do I take the four large bolts off that hold the housing cover on the clutch and use those bolt holes on the block to attach to engine stand. If some one has a picture that would be great. I don't want to inadvertently bend \ snap some aluminum with improper mounting.

yes bolt to the four belhousing points- you'll need to pull the pin from the release fork before the housing comes off btw.

The cross member bolts work well if you have some spares.

Thanks, I will try the cross member bolts . I went out the top and it was not bad at all. I had the radiator out. I have to clean up the garage before I start tearing down the motor.
