Default trailing m030 mount thingy?

What is the m030 version of #6, what does it do, and should I get one if I'm going to be doing some rear end work and getting an alignment anyway?

I know the part number and all, just what is it and what's different about it?

It's probably harder rubber. You can get aluminum versions probably for much cheaper.
