Default XPOST wideband o2 sensor and controller routing

So I had a shop weld in my wideband O2 sensor bung today hoping to finish the project tonight. Well thats not going to happen. I route the O2 sensor down by the wastegate and there obviously wasn't going to be enough length on the sensor wire to reach there and still be able to keep the controller at the rear upper end of the engine by the speed and reference sensors. I also tried routing it near the down pipe and it still was a foot away from the bung.

How did you route yours?

Can the innovate lm1 withstand the heat if I let it hang down behind the engine?

Thats about where I welded in my AEM one, and I ran the wire over to the frame rail/a-arm bolt area on the drivers side and then up by the brake booster.
