I just got a hold of the company that originally mfg these tops. The company may or may not have the tooling laying around, since they no longer actually mfg them now. I am waiting for a call back to see. If not, I told them anything under $500.00 would be good. Any thoughts.

Found the saratoga sunroof guy. Spoke to his wife a few minutes ago. He wasn't home, but he should call back soon.
He sold the company to his ex wife several years ago, who ran it into the ground.
They had no idea the Saratogas were in demand...or such high priced.
So..If I could talk this guy into going back into production...or maybe locating and selling of the original tooling, would anybody be interested?

Ill check back in 2017....the next time someone tracks down the saratoga guy.

Glass of Saratoga tops were made by LOF. (Libby-Owens-Ford), who manufactured most of the glass at least to GM starting from '50's (maybe even earlier). LOF is now owned by Pilkington Group. Saratoga just made the frame, not glass.

I spoke to the rep at Pikington today and I am waiting for him to see if the tooling is still there. They will do this for us. The question is, how many can we get to order the tops. We all know, the more tops mfg, the cheaper they become.
