Default Seatbelt woes!

Hokay, a while back I took out the seat belts for my 924 race car project. I'm reversing that now, and going to put them back in, but they are locked up. they worked just fine when I took em out, but now, not so much. I'm completely unable to pull out more seatbelt... I'm thinking the cause is that they retracted too much... but I'm unsure. Anyone have this problem, or anyone with parts cars have 2 front seat belts that are working well?

Happened to me. Stick the mounting tab in a vise and just pull the belt straight out.

I actually fixed it... by taking off the end cap and holding back the locking mechanism while dad pulled the belt out. it's better now, and working like it should!

The belts only pull out if they're at the correct angle. They are designed this way so that in the event of a rollover you're held firmly in place instead of resting on your head/neck.

They should only pull out if they are on this angle, so that could also be a problem if someone else is experiencing this.

Mine are fixed, and I noticed how that tilt thing works. it's neat! basically a ball bearing in a bubble. it's cool!
