Don't forget to get a stronger trans while you are sourcing parts. An S2 trans would be perfect. You could fit a 968 trans but you need to do some extra work regarding fittiment and speedo/odo input (since the 968 takes its info from the ABS and there is no provision on the 968 trans for the odo sensor like on the 944 series models).

S2 tranny all the way if you are tracking the car. I found the 951 tranny too long for the track, however, on the open highway, it would be great.

Nineapart had a few engines last time I was there
I got mine from the states, personally... cheaper for me especially since I wanted to do a full rebuild anyway.

Has anyone ever considered the Super Charger system from Speed force racing?? it says 222 RWHP in a 944. It seems pretty interesting to me.

I am in Canada and am selling a 3 liter S2 twin cam engine. With headers, exhaust and the included firehawk chip, you can get pretty close to 968 power. As a bonus, I am selling for way less than $4500
