Default alright....what's the story

After reading that original post I would never have guessed you'd end up buying that car. Tell us the whole story.

Are you missing one or is one of yours damaged?

The wheels you have were made by BW Motorsports, the centers were at least. The rim halves are Kinesis. The wheel is a true 3-piece wheel. Unfortunately they are no longer produced. If you find any at all, they will most likely be used.

Fear not for you may be in luck. I have a spare that I was saving in case I damaged one of mine...I may be inclined to sell it as I still have not used it (knocks on wood).

PM me if you are interested.

Well last week he called me up and said he is ready to get rid of the car. That he has got some new inventory (one is dino proven 500whp 996, nice!) and the S2 was taking up space, so I went for it. It’s really a strong driving and clean car. I'm going to take it to DJ out here in the valley and have him look at it throughout and get a clean bill of health for it (knock on wood). And than I’m going to decide on which car to keep. Both have pros and cons.

that was always the big question. When I talked to Jaber, they had NO records on the car yet stated it was "babied" and "well taken care of". I asked how they knew that. Specially since there were missing parts off the interior and, of course, the mismatched wheels. No sure about you, but when I baby my car, it doesn't have either. My vette is "babied" and although near stock looking, it wins awards at shows. They really strung out the interpretation of "babied".
Just sounded like a bunch of "car salesmen" to me. I would have gone $8500 that they were willing to go, but just couldn't trust them. Hope it works out for you.

I have don lots of engine swaps in Hondas and Acuras, and I can tell the clean well done swaps from the back yard swaps. And the biggest indicator is how clean the engine bay is. When you have a clean engine bay and the swap looks stock as if it came out of the factory you know it was done by a pro. And I’ve seen engine bays where you had 4 guys pickup the engine and stuff it in there and bang every single wall, panel, strut housing, and any thing that can be banged up in there, and half of the paint is chipped off.
This S2 looked stock to me that is why I was asking if they came with the VARIO CAM in the other thread. But I’ll see what Don Jackson is going to say about it. I’ll PM you with the inspection results.

Here's one one Ebay. Not sure if it's the size you need.
