OK to just turn rotors?
I got some pbr metal master pads in the mail the other day. New rotors are kinda expensive, is it ok to just have them turned? The rotors are straight, they just have some gouges in them that Im not shure would be good for my new pads.
Thanks

Well I suppose thier not expensive but paragon priced thier rotors for $50 ea for the fronts, and $85 ea for the rears. Thats gonna be almost 300 bucks when you account for shipping.

Cutting your rotors will take out the "warping" but you now have introduced the potential for more and greater warping. The shaved down section now has thinner material, and when you really heat up the brakes, that difference in rotor thinkness can cause some additional warping.
I've had my rotors cut, but it really isn't recommended for track driven cars.

This is correct! I have a 1988 944 that I track and I was getting brake vibration so I had my mechanic turn them and it didn't really seem to go away 100%. I just got back from Laguna Seca on Monday and now my vibration is even greater. Guess I'll have to buy 2 new front rotors now.
If you thought front rotors are expensive, try owning a 1987-88 944. These costs even more.
