Good plan.

My plan is to bastardize my car so badly with modifications and personal touches so that no one will ever want to purchase it, thus taking it out of the realm of "available" 944's and decreasing the amount of pristine stock examples on the road by one.

Hmm - from the looks of it in the pictures I don't think that your are trying hard enough. Maybe you need some stickers and one of those subwoofers that looks like a bottle of nitrous? How about double blade windshield wipers and one of those boomerang tv antennas?

Seriously though - I've alway thought your car looks great!

Wow. I'm glad it lightened up here at the end. I am on my 3rd 944. Not that I'd have an NA if a turbo was in the cards... but there just isn't really another car out there that I want. I have a good friend who gets TONS of money every month from the local casino. He has an evo and it is so fast. He still remarks almost ever time I see him how much he likes the lines on my car. I still get random people on the freeway waving maniacally at me... bad paint and all.

I drive and own my car because it is a car that I have always thought was beautiful. Its performance and style just do it for me. I am a person that would prefer that it did not have the porsche crest on the nose. This is for one reason and that is the heir around Porsche owners and drivers. I have found that 99% of 944 owner are very down to earth and very inviting. I have not found that with the other models that Porsche makes, not to say that there are not nice people with all types of cars.
