who's v8 conversion is this?

The clutch only needs to have a disc built on a porsche spline so thats pretty simple once you find the right clutch guy.
Also, PM "Lapex" above. He has a used (practically new) electric brake booster that he's selling for the 944 V8 conversion since he switched to Wiwoods MC.
Hey RC, Expuppy! How are you guys?!

The instructions with the electric brakes made me bleed them differently. Bench bleed the master before installation. Bleed the pressure line to the master second, then passenger side rear, drivers rear, passenger front and then drivers front. I took the extra step of jacking up each corner separately when i bled the master to make sure i had no air bubbles in there.

Same car, different view. For those who hate hybrids this is the stuff of nightmares, especially in the rear view mirror. I Love the sounds!!

Haha, quick to the defense!
No, no, no, my friend, I was not referring to weight (I learned years ago how light LS-series are when I was wanting to V8 an RX-7).
I use the word Heavy to describe the sound.
One of my favorite memories of the '86 928S I briefly had was the moment when it's long dormant 32 valve 5.0 finally fired up. I hadn't owned a V8 car for 10 years, and had bought this strange Porsche dead at an auction. Whir-whir-whir as the recharged battery spun and spun and spun... and suddenly WHOOM WHOOM! My garage was filled with this huge deep rumble that I could totally feel all the way through the collapsed old motor mounts, the big leather easy-chair driver's seat, and the huge steering wheel. And that was stock 928S exhaust.
It sounded/felt heavy like Heavy F*cking Metal - deep and full of power.
Cool?

the 944 is such a great platform to build on. before you go nuts though, get to the fest and ride with some of the NA's. yeah, they wont break your neck getting on the straight, but some of them were plain sweet handling cars. even though i had double the hp, they were pretty impressive and some of those guys were milking every last second out of that chassis.

MB- Awesome job on your intake! I'd like to do the same thing. It doesn't even require hood pins.
If you're still in the house, did you custom valve your Bilstein's?
Thanks

Thanks man.
I went with these specs on the Bilsteins & springs:
Bilstein Escort Race Series coil-over front struts valved 600/190.
Hypercoil 2.50 / 450 lb. front springs
Bilstein Escort Race Series coil-over rear shocks valved 565/218.
Hypercoil 2.25 / 500 lb. rear springs in combo with factory torsion bars.
Its perfect for this monster. Its crazy to drive. Sideways at any speed, but 100%controled grace on the track. It is the most fun on the street when you just cruise around town playing with the throttle.
Violent acceleration/handling/looks/sound - it has really been a nice car to own and enjoy.
